Neighborhoods in Vilnius

Vilnius is a safe capital by international standards, and central Vilnius reads as a normal, walkable European city day to day. Everyday crime is dominated by theft rather than violence, with pickpocketing in the tourist-heavy Old Town and around transport hubs the everyday risk. Lithuania's statistics portals blocked automated retrieval, so there is no clean per-10,000 registered-crime rate to show here; the one clean national figure is the low homicide rate, and none of it is broken down by neighborhood.
